Officer-Child Safeguarding (1), Rohingya Response
The role:
Under the direct supervision of the Child Safeguarding Coordinator, the position will be responsible for providing on time orientation to the new joiners, provide refresher training both for SCI and partner staff ensuring compliance of child safeguarding minimum standards. S/he will also take part in investigation process actively to provide timely feedback. Other responsibilities of this position includes proper documentation of Child Safeguarding orientation related papers; ensure visibility of IEC materials in camps and other project areas; assist CS coordinator for service provider mapping for children and do the necessary coordination with other sectors to integrate Child Safeguarding standards into our operations.
Qualifications and experience:
At least 2-3 years’ demonstrated experience of working in child protection/child safeguarding in development sector.
The incumbent should have the skill and experience to organize and conduct workshop at various levels
Ability to work under pressure; be flexible in challenging situation; excellent interpersonal and communication skill both in English and Bangla; Excellent report writing skills are other pre requisites.
Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Social Sciences or relevant discipline
Considering the relevant experience and familiarity with local context education may relaxed.
Contract length: 06 months with possibilities of extension
